| Description: | A juried touring exhibition of members' work, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG). Jurors: Nicole Billard, Crispin Elsted, Edward Hutchins.
Opening Reception: Friday, February 26, 7-9pm
The Art of the Book '08, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild. In 1988, CBBAG held its first exhibition and since then has held one every five years. With each exhibition the quality and variety of the work has grown stronger and the number of entries has increased.
As the exhibition travels across the country, many people will have the opportunity to admire the craftsmanship and creativity of these works. We hope the originality and artistic merit of these pieces will provide standards and inspiration for the Canadian book arts community.
