Just 25 minutes NW of Saskatoon on Highway #16, in the Model-T Bar & Grille in the old Borden Hotel, you can find a sweet night of jazz, pop, rock and original music. Got leftover turkey in the fridge, and leftover company? Are you zoning out wondering what to do in the lull after the christmas hullabaloo?
Come out for supper, to enjoy some free live entertainment, and even stay the night at the INN at the Model-T, in one of the newly renovated rooms & suites!

Local, Albertan/Singer/Songwriter/Musician, Mandy Ebel, is hitting the road this Holiday season for a mini- tour with Jazz pianist, Curtis Steinwandt, from Edmonton. Both Mandy and Curtis recently finished their Double Music Diplomas at Selkirk College in Nelson, British Columbia. Mandy Ebel has received recognition from CARAS (Canadian Association of Recording Arts and Sciences)/ MusiCan/ JUNO Awards Co-ordinators, for her impressive vocal stylings and song-writing skills, being one of only eleven Music College Students in Canada to receive CTV Global’s First,“ Fred Sherrat Award” in 2008. Mandy also, has won various other song-writing awards, and performed with Canadian Idol of 2005, Kalan Porter, both from whom share the hometown of Medicine Hat, AB.
Mandy and Curtis will be performing at Model-T Bar and Grill in Borden, Sask, on this Dec. 26th, Boxing Day. They will be playing a mix of Classy Jazz Standards, and Mandy’s Original music. Mandys Originals are difficult to pin a genre on, but her songs could be looked at, as a fusion of Indie/Pop/Folk/Rock with R'n'B vocal stylings, with inticing, thought provoking lyrics. Mandy will be in support of “Project Nicaragua” - donating $2.00 of every CD sold to this wonderful cause, which works on promoting health and wellness to Nicaraguans. www.nicican.org.
