OK, driving this morning I overheard Watson on Rock 102 venting about how his wife and him are looking for their first home but are frustrated with what you get for what you pay...  having a home on the market my first thought was I should send him my listing, my second was an internal giggle at the fact that every house I've bought I've felt the same way.

Here's the deal though, when my parents moved to Saskatoon they felt the same, when they bought their next house moving to the East side in the early 80's they nearly choked on the $78,000 price tag, likewise my in laws with their first home in the late 60's early 70's thought they over paid (under $20,000) for their first and were told they were over paying when they bought their second home for $53,000 in the late 70's

Fair warning this is like a car wreck, you want to turn your head but you just have to look...

So today in a disturbing press conference of sorts, Jim Pankiw announced he would be running as an independent in the federal riding of Saskatoon-Humboldt.

Home and Small Business PC Data Protection

One of the strongest divisions of KDMI is our Data Recovery division, which is absolutely ridiculous in this day and age for most home and small business computer operators.

For those like me with short attention spans I'll jump to the punch line quick - There are two simple to set up things you can do to have your data secure.

Police presence on Idylwyld Drive in Saskatoon

Saskatoon protester of George W. Bush and the Iraq WarDriving down Idylwyld Dr. today you may find yourself wondering, what the heck are all these police officers doing at nearly every corner? At least I did from about 29th street till I hit 22nd street this afternoon.

It was the tiny handfull of straggling protestors on the corner that finally gave it away... "George W. Bush" OK now I did create this site to bring positive perspectives to Saskatoon and how we view ourselves, so here's todays effort - It's really nice that Saskatoon is now a destination for high priced, international speakers when not that long ago we were the city and province that everyone flew over on their way somewhere else. This is good for Saskatoon.

Gogol Bodello Saskatoon Review

To say that the Gogol Bordello show was a hell of a party would be an understatement! The energy was infectious, and I find myself torn as to whether or not I'm surprised at the broad cross section of society represented in the crowd, including the lower level jammed to the stage bunch that bounced and swayed in unison with the occasional crowd surfer that would pop out in the midst and be quickly fished off the crowd by quick acting security guards.

The opening act... well they were time filler, really quite a forgettable two piece "band" if you will that became very boring and repetitive after about half a song, in fact I've already forgotten their name, "apostle something.." I think.
