Saskatoon protester of George W. Bush and the Iraq WarDriving down Idylwyld Dr. today you may find yourself wondering, what the heck are all these police officers doing at nearly every corner? At least I did from about 29th street till I hit 22nd street this afternoon.

It was the tiny handfull of straggling protestors on the corner that finally gave it away... "George W. Bush" OK now I did create this site to bring positive perspectives to Saskatoon and how we view ourselves, so here's todays effort - It's really nice that Saskatoon is now a destination for high priced, international speakers when not that long ago we were the city and province that everyone flew over on their way somewhere else. This is good for Saskatoon.

Ok with my positivity out of the way, I am curious as to who eats the bill for all our police resources being utilized for security duty along the streets? I sure hope it comes out of those tickets sold and not my tax dollars.

Saskatoon Police Presence during Bush TalkSaskatoon Bush ProtestersOk time for another dose of positivity - Bush is no longer the President of the United States - Hooray!

So at this point no photos for you, however I did just send Brad from Saskatoon Photography out to shoot some of the police presence and anything else like protestors etc. and I'll take my camera with me when I head to the area right now.

Oh hey I don't know if this is positive or not I guess it depends on the readers perspective but another thing about Bush that came about as a result of his term in office is one of my all time favourite quotes, it comes from Hugo Chaves (President of Venezuela) and goes like this "You are a donkey Mr. Bush"
