So it's been said that in Saskatchewan all we talk about is the weather... yeah, is there any wonder why?

I'm very greatful that fall has come back and graced us with it's presence again, but if you are anything like me you are a little tentative on beleiving it's going to stick around very long.

So what's the upside? well it's got me off my but and working away in the yard, I'm not putting off anything for tomorrow if it can be done today, and I tell you that it feels good.

Ok there is one area I've been putting off slightly, and that is the leaves, I've been watching the forecasts daily, trying to put it off until the leaf cover had dried out a bit more, but it looks like today is the day for getting it done.

With the majority of the work out of the way, tomorrow I think will be the day for the annual trip to the Dutch Growers Hay Maze... the kids love it, it's free, and the filtered light in the green house makes for killer photos of the boys, and with 4 boys free works well, so I have no problem giving Dutch Growers a shameless plug, their products are high quality, they utlize techniques like releasing thousands of ladybugs in their Greenhouses in the spring to control affids etc as an alternative to chemically treating their plants.
